Possibility

Shaking up conventional wisdom to unleash imagination and innovation

Do you wonder what it means to follow your dreams? We open ourselves to such dreaming when we live in possibility, believing in something bigger than yourself and the conventional world view. And when you really believe in something, momentum follows.

We call this being a possibilist. Think about a time when you were considering a new opportunity, home, job or embarking on any major decision. You probably felt really jazzed and looked at the world through fresh eyes and optimism. Then, after patterns of reality kicked in alongside the familiar pals of disappointment and frustration, you may have shifted to seeing a limitation of your potential. Possibilists quickly flip can’t-be-done thinking on its head by choosing to look at things in an innovative way.

Abandoning familiarity in thought and action can feel disruptive at first, and others might question your path. But the power of disruption can be so exciting, not for the sake of being disruptive but as a catalyst to make things better. Possibilists enjoy renewed creativity and energy and often find a renewed ability to influence others.

Are you regularly doing things that pull you out of a comfort zone and quite possibly even scare you a little?
